Back to The Mountain

Time flies! It’s been over four years since I was on set with the fantastic students who created and filmed The Mountain.

It’s hard to express how rewarding I found working with the talented cast and crew on this Queen’s University student film project. Not only was it a joy to work with them, but I was thrilled for their subsequent Royal Television Society win in the category of student drama in March 2016.

I can’t thank Rebecca Kelly and Connor Brennan enough for inviting me along to share their journey with their crew and my fabulous co-star, Aaron Lynch.

I believe it’s important to give back to my community by lending a hand to just this sort of production. I always encourage my fellow actors to help out where they can with our young filmmakers or tomorrow. You’ll be rewarded mightily with creations such as this short film, which is still one of my favourites.

Fun with a “Model Citizen”

My staff (which currently consists of my personal assistant/partner, Amy) has been having a bit of fun with some of the behind the scenes photos from a project I’ve been working on with the fantastic team of Aaron and TJ at Drawn in Pen Productions. Here is a bit of the “Cannon Fodder” she likes to toss together in her spare time – miniatures of me pasted into some of the test scenes of “Model Citizen,” coming soon to a screen near you.
